Hiring the Museum

NEWS: Room Hire prices frozen for 2010/2011 - our charges are the same as they were in 2009/2010.

The Museum in the Park has rooms available for hire, both for conferencing/meetings and to display your exhibition.

The Museum in the Park, is set in the beautiful Stratford Park, Stroud.

With its easy access to the centre of Stroud and free on-site parking, it is an ideal building to hire for that special event.

The Museum has been used as a venue for training sessions, summer evening receptions, group visits, photography & filming.

The Museum is fully accessible.

The Museum has two spaces which are available for hire for temporary exhibitions.

Please note that exhibitions are accepted at the discretion of the Museum and the spaces are often booked up several years in advance.

Conferences & Meetings

The Museum has two rooms available for conferences/meetings (subject to availability).

Gallery 1 can hold up to 80 people theatre style.

Gallery 2 can hold up to 50 people theatre style.

Audio-visual equipment is available for use if booked in advance.

Refreshments can be arranged.

All spaces need to be booked in advance.

Group Visits

The Museum welcomes group visits. The Museum is housed in a former Wool Merchant's Mansion and displays the history, geology and social history of Stroud District.

We strongly recommend that you book your visit in advance, as visitors into the Museum can be limited at busy times.

Refreshments are available on site but please let us know your requirements in advance.

Talks and activities can be arranged to suit your group. There may be a charge for this and please request information when making your booking.
